The Interdepartmental Undergraduate Neuroscience Program of Johns Hopkins University

The purpose of this form is to verify that the Research Mentor approves of the student’s research proposal and outlines the responsibilities of the Research Mentor in supervising the student’s research progress.  Further, the contract specifies the agreement of the Research Mentor to allow the student to take coursework during the research year, if needed.  Finally, the signed contract confirms the Research Mentor’s willingness to participate in the panel defense of the student’s final project  and subsequent granting of the M.S. degree.

 

If the Research Mentor wishes to designate an alternative supervisor to the student’s research, this information will be specified in the Student/Mentor Contract.
